A Wonderful Tapestry

We are starting to see occasional cruising yachts.

The Kali Strata is a wonderful tapestry of different kinds of Symi stone.  In the summer one does not notice the different coloured stones but at this time of the year, when they have been scoured clean by the rain, all the different colours and textures are revealed.

Agios Thanassis, one of the many parish churches in Chorio, has quite a large cat population.

It would seem that they are fed by whoever lives in the house on the right.

Where's my breakfast?

It is a bright and sunny day on Symi.  Odd clouds are still drifting about and showers are forecast for today and tomorrow but at the moment everything is shining in the clear sunshine.  There is much scrubbing, painting, airing and general spring-cleaning going on, including in our office. We apologise for the interruption in the webcam.  It had to be unplugged for a while as essential maintenance was being done in the office. Things are returning to normal now and I am no longer shrouded in dust sheets.  You may tell us what you think of our new decor when you come in to see us this summer!
